things to look for in this issue

Newly minted PMP Hall of Famer Dr. Bill Robinson got married the week before starting his master’s degree program in 1964. He worked in a bakery all through high school, so making the cake for his own wedding, pictured here with his bride, Carol, was a piece of… well, you know. p. 51
We hope you enjoy our coverage of cockroaches based on our exclusive annual survey. Several industry respondents shared their biggest cockroach battles. We have printed a few, but there are more online at PMPPestTalk.net. After p. 84

The PMP staff is going to miss longtime columnist, Editorial Advisory Board member, PMP Hall of Famer (Class of 2019), industry legend and all-around fantastic person, Judy Black, BCE. We wish her the best in retirement, and we also wish we could have been at what looked like a very fun party that the Rollins Inc. team threw on her last day of work, Aug. 30. We dig the sash and shirt, Judy! p. 126

On a personal note, I’ve known Len Douglen (pictured) since I joined PMP (then Pest Control) in late 1995. He’s been in the pest control industry 40 years, and the executive director of the New Jersey Pest Management Association (NJPMA) for the past 25. The clambake we showcase in this month’s “Photo Finish” was his last event before he retired from the association. We wish Len the best in the future, and we look forward to working with NJPMA’s new executive director, Tim Bower. Congratulations to them both. p. 132
