JOHN DEERE

NEW DOZERS ADDRESS OPERATOR SAFETY, COMFORT

JOHN DEERE introduced the 950 P-Tier and 1050 P-Tier dozers, which were previously in the market as the 950K and 1050K. Now equipped with standard LEDs, John Deere says operator efficiency is improved in nighttime or low-light operations. Also helping to improve uptime, cold-weather hydraulic lines are specially tailored for operations in cold climates. Additionally, the company’s Operator Presence System ensures an operator is present in the seat of the cab – with the seat belt fastened – before the parking break can be released. Both dozer models also feature a heated and ventilated seat option, which is air suspended with adjustment controls for optimal ergonomics. johndeere.com

SCALPING SCREEN SURFACES FOR LARGE FEED SIZES

A new heavy-duty scalping screen joins the Guardian lineup of horizontal screens at SUPERIOR INDUSTRIES. The new scalping screen handles a maximum feed size of 18 in., surpassing Superior’s medium-duty predecessor that maxes out at 14 in. The heavy-duty scalping screen is equipped with a perforated top deck, or punch plate, and it’s made of 3/4-in. AR steel. A slight slope facilitates the movement of feed material for efficient screening, the company adds. superior-ind.com
