COOL, NEW STUFF

1 No data fees for iQ products

Bell Labs • BellSensing.com

Bell Laboratories has removed the monthly subscription fee for the Bell Sensing Technologies app, which supports Bell’s full product line of iQ rodent monitoring devices. No subscriptions, no charges, no data fees: Use as many iQ devices, at as many accounts as you wish, without any charges. Bell wants to ensure “no tech gets left behind” — that affordable rodent monitoring is a tool that belongs in every pest control technician’s toolbox.

2 Consumer websites on termite control

BASF • TermidorHome.com and TrelonaHome.com

The new and improved TermidorHome. com educates customers on the benefits of a Termidor liquid treatment, while the all-new TrelonaHome.com details the benefits of the Trelona ATBS termite baiting system. Both websites focus on three key topics: the threat of termite infestations and why termite control is needed; specifics about BASF treatment options; and the importance of hiring a pest management professional to protect their homes.

3 PestPartners 365

Syngenta • PestPartners365.com

Pest management professionals (PMPs) can become 2023 Syngenta PestPartners 365 Program members by purchasing any combination of Syngenta products that generate at least $200 in base rebates during the qualification period from Oct. 1, 2022, to April 30, 2023. Once in the 2023 program, PMPs will earn rebates on all their Syngenta purchases made between Oct. 1, 2022, and Sept. 30, 2023. Plus, PMPs who earn at least $500 in base rebates between Oct. 1 and Dec. 8, 2022, will receive a onetime Early Order Bonus. New to the 2023 program, PMPs also can double their Early Order Bonus with a one-time Level Up Bonus. PMPs must move up from last year’s Early Order Bonus amount or become a new member at the Silver level or higher between Oct. 1, 2022, and Dec. 8, 2022. Members and non-members can use the free rebate calculator tool to estimate and maximize their savings potential.

4 16-mil polyethylene vapor barrier

Crawlspace Depot • CrawlspaceDepot.com

Properly sealing a crawlspace can help mitigate moisture risk, which leads to improved air quality in living spaces, fewer pest intrusions, and increased protection of the home’s structural integrity. One of the most important tools for sealing a crawlspace is a high-quality liner like the new, white-on-white, 16-mil polyethylene vapor barrier from Crawlspace Depot. Durable and cost-effective, this string-reinforced liner helps defend against damp conditions and is ideal for covering the ground inside the crawlspace, lining interior walls and wrapping around piers.

5 Intec Vortec Twin Turbo

Pest Control Insulation • TAPInsulation.com

Eliminate bag change downtime at attic insulation cleanouts with the Twin Turbo. Simply place vacuum bags on both outlets; divert all product to one outlet until the bag is full, then divert product to the other outlet while changing out the first bag. Features include powdercoated steel construction, 6-inch inlets/outlets, a slide gate with gasket to open and close the desired port, and one top and two bottom handles.

6 Totality in Florida

FMC • GSS.FMC.com

Now approved for use in Florida, FMC’s Totality wood treatment brings its long-term, all-weather protection to a new state. Totality is scientifically formulated with FMC’s bifenthrin to protect from termites and other wood-destroying insects, with long-term efficacy to preserve wood after only one application. Totality mixes quickly and easily, even in cold temperatures — without the need for warm water, drills, impellers or buckets. One quart makes 10 finished gallons for increased yield and maximum protection.

7 Tech Tipping

FieldRoutes • FieldRoutes.com/free-demo-pest

Tech Tipping is a new feature that allows customers to reward excellent service by adding a tip when making a payment through FieldRoute’s Customer Portal. Tech Tipping simultaneously incentivizes your technicians to stay with your business and provide outstanding service, which in turn helps build lasting relationships with satisfied customers. This innovation is free to all FieldRoutes Operations Suite customers, and can be easily integrated with QuickBooks for streamlined accounting. See it in action by booking a live demo online.
